Production - Audience Testing - Final draft

In today's lesson we finished our film and added the ident and then had our final audience testing. We showed the film to a group of people and asked them to fill out the questionnaire after.

We asked 5 people to fill out questionnaires and the majority of them said they liked the opening, but felt it was very deep, and also had nothing they would change on it.

Production - Voice-over script

In today's lesson we created the script for Aidan's voice-over that will play over the film. Aidan is going to film the voice-over over the weekend so that we can add it to our film at the beginning of next week. Hopefully when this is done we will be able to have another audience testing to see what they like and dislike about the voice-over. We have also started to change and improve things on our film that people didn't like in the 2nd focus group.

Production - 2nd Draft

Today, we finished the 2nd drafts of the film, this drafts has titles and the soundtrack over it. For the next draft we need to add a voice over, which will be done by Aidan or Charlie. 

Production - Focus group 2

Today, we completed more audience testing for our second draft for our opening film. We gathered some useful feed back from Charlie, Molly and Josie and now we can change and improve things they wasn't to keen on. We are planning to add a voice over this week, hopefully in tomorrows lesson.

Production - Questionaire results for titles and fonts

We handed out some questionnaires to the right target audience to get their opinion on the titles and fonts for our film, here are our results.

2/6 people thought this one was good as a font for the genre of the film

Font Two (middle one in second image) -

1/6 people prefers this font
4/6 people thought this one was good as a font for the genre of the film

Font Three (last one in second image) -

1/6 people prefers this font
0/6 thought it suited the genre of the film

Colour/black and white - This was split evenly throughout the 6 people asked

Are all suitable? - 5/6 people thought all 3 were suitable

Is the font is important in creating the right impression? - All 6 said yes, apart from one say yes and maybe.

Production - Titles and Fonts

As a group we chose three different fonts that we thought would be suitable for the title of our film. Gaby and Amber created a questionnaire that will be given out to a few people to see their opinion on the fonts we have chosen and to see what one is their favourite.
